CodVerter website hosting lets you publish a saved front-end project as a public website directly from your CodVerter account.
Publish a snapshot
CodVerter packages the current saved version of your project and prepares it for publication.

After the publishing checks are completed, your website can be opened through its public CodVerter website address.

Website limits and hosting periods
Your plan determines how many hosted websites you can have and whether a website can remain hosted beyond its initial trial period.

Limits and eligibility are verified by the CodVerter server when you publish or manage a website. The values displayed in your account are the authoritative values for your current plan.

A short preparation check prevents most publishing and website-loading problems.
Project checklist
- Save the latest version of the project.
- Make sure the project belongs to your account.
- Confirm that the main HTML page loads correctly.
- Check CSS, JavaScript and image paths.
- Test the project at desktop and mobile sizes.
- Remove private keys and confidential information.

Publish your website step by step
The publishing dialog guides you through five stages before the project is submitted for publication.

Possible review results
Publishing includes automated safety and quality checks. Some submissions may require additional review before becoming publicly available.

The review completed successfully and the published website is available at its public URL.
Additional review
The website requires further review. Check the website dashboard for its current status.
Publishing blocked
The project was not published. Review the displayed reason, correct the project where possible and submit it again.
New versions
Updating a published website
Continue editing the original CodVerter project and publish a new version when the changes are ready.

Website lifecycle
What happens when hosting eligibility changes?
CodVerter manages website availability according to the account’s current plan, website allowance and hosting status.
Website is available
The website is within the account’s current allowance and its hosting period is active.
Limited additional online period
If hosting eligibility ends, the website may remain online for a limited period before it is suspended.
Public access is unavailable
The website can be retained for a limited time, allowing eligibility to be restored before final removal.
The final lifecycle stage
An eligible monthly plan may restore a retained website automatically when capacity is available. A website that remains ineligible may later be removed.
Responsible publishing
Safety rules and hosting terms
A hosted website is publicly accessible. Publish only content and code that you have the right to use and distribute.

- Content that violates applicable law or rights

Troubleshooting
Common publishing problems
The website address is unavailable
Choose another public address. Website addresses must be unique and must pass the service’s validation rules.
Images or styles are missing
Check relative file paths, filenames and letter casing. Published website paths may be case-sensitive.
The published page is blank
Confirm that the main HTML page loads correctly and inspect the project for JavaScript errors or missing required files.
The website limit was reached
Review My Websites and your current plan allowance. A new website cannot be published while the account is already at its limit.
Publishing was blocked
Read the result shown by CodVerter, correct the reported issue where possible and submit the saved project again.
A recent update is not visible
Confirm that the new version finished publishing, then refresh the public page. Editing or saving a project alone does not update the live website.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does saving my project update the public website?
No. Saving updates the source project. You must publish a new website version before those changes become public.
Can I host a server-side application?
No. CodVerter website hosting currently supports front-end projects that run in the browser.
Can I connect a custom domain?
Custom domains are not currently supported. Published websites use their provided CodVerter website address.
Does prepaid credit extend the 60-day hosting trial?
No. Prepaid hosting follows the same limited hosting model as the free plan. Keeping a website hosted beyond 60 days requires an eligible monthly plan.
Can a suspended website be restored?
A retained website may be restored after an eligible monthly plan becomes active, provided the website has not been removed and the account has sufficient website capacity.
Where can I check the exact website status?
Open My Websites in your CodVerter account. The status and dates reported by the server are the authoritative information for that website.
